What is the weirdest reason you have ever heard of a toy or item being recalled?

The 2002 Happy Family Midge and baby doll. Purely because Mattel thought pushing the doll as an unmarried teen mother was a clearly bad idea! Man do you know how often that happens IRL!?! Ridiculous. Also I'm dressing up as a Sim from The Sims 4 (yes my Fimfiction account was dressed up as a Sim last year, but I didn't dress up irl last year [got sick on Halloween]).
I loved Creepy Crawlers as a kid. However apparently they were recalled due to some of the metal molds and stuff you inserted into the oven area burning kids. They made some safer versions at some point I believe. It's too bad there was a controversy over that because I used my Creepy Crawlers oven all of the time. I loved making different bugs and spiders in it. Fun times.
