You may have noticed this hanging out in the sidebar of the some of my stories. King is a new writer around here and has been asking me for advice for some time now. For various reasons, I've agreed to help him as an editor in their premier story. He wants to get better at writing while he's doing his real life thing, and I want to help him achieve that since he's a good student.
And no, before you ask, there is a very, very specific reason I am editing for him that I will not get into here. I will not pick up any more long-fic editing stories. Suffice to say, he's got a tough year ahead of him with our without my editing.
And trust me, I'm a very tough editor.
In other news, I'm working on chapter 6 of Unchanging Truths. A little over halfway done. I just wanted to get this blog out there since he posted the update just now, and I am going to plug it to ensure folks give it a fair shot. Feedback and constructive criticism are a writer's bread and butter, so tell him what he's doing right, what he's doing wrong, and where he can improve. I will take the information to heart as well since I'm advising and editing.
