Well, I am still alive and well. And the story is NOT dead but it's been in merely sleep mode as I try to mull over everything I need to do, but rest assured, I have NOT quit and I won't leave you hanging forever. I Pinkie Pie promise! Cross my heart, hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye! 
Another hiatus for Part 3 (I'm sorry) · 4:22am Aug 19th, 2022
Hey everypony, I will post the next chapter of Wherever the Light Shines: Part 3 this Saturday, but after that, the story is going on a second hiatus. The reason is because I am writing future parts of the story and I wanted to be at a certain point in my current project before this Part finished, but unfortunately, I'm not going to meet that goal in time because complications rose on my end both personal and things beyond my control that led to this.
Trust me, I'm not happy to make this announcement and didn't want to, but I just had to. I'm really sorry about this, but I give you my word, I am doing my best to write this beloved project. It's my baby, my creation and I do not want to abandon it after coming this far. The story will resume at some point in the future but I just need to stop publishing for now until I am and feel ready once again.
But I promise that I won't ever give up and Solar loves to keep his promises!
Pluuuuussss, I'm also going to Everfree Northwest this next week! :D I hope to have a wonderful time there.
