Well, I am still alive and well. And the story is NOT dead but it's been in merely sleep mode as I try to mull over everything I need to do, but rest assured, I have NOT quit and I won't leave you hanging forever. I Pinkie Pie promise! Cross my heart, hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye!

Hello, everypony. It's been a long while, hasn't it? I'm so sorry that I haven't updated or posted in a long time. I hate, hate, hate that I haven't but real life has just been a real swamp and a bit of a mess for me, plus, while I have finished Part 3 of Wherever the Light Shines in terms of writing, I've even finished Part 4 and have written a real good chunk of Part 5, I had planned releases whenever I got to a certain section of Part 5 and hoped to reach another section of Part 5 while releasing chapters weekly. It was a system that all fell apart after both burnout and real life.
I'm still very committed to the story and on top of life being a mess, I've been choked with writer's fear of unrealistic expectations, as if I am not good enough, and don't have enough content to keep the story going as I hoped. And I'm sorry again for the lack of updates due to all of this. And, I confess, due to this, I feel ashamed for not giving updates, when it leads to me wasting even more time.
However, I do plan on making it up in part this week with an update for my spin-off story, A Blackened Sunset, with a "lost chapter." It will be out before or on Saturday. :) It's my way of saying "Merry Christmas" and "Sorry."
Well, that's enough outta me for now, but you do for sure have something coming very soon and I'm going to use the later parts of this month and next year to recommit to the story I've been working on for over five years.
Don’t worry dude, we’ll all be patiently waiting for what’s in store. Take your time, do what you need to do. Anyways I love your stories and I can’t wait to see what happens next, but until then I hope you do well.

As a patient man, I always imagine what will happen sooner or later about the conviction party in canterlot, I just hope Mystic won't do anything bad or her "uncle" trying to cause confusion and delay. Oops, sorry! I've been listening to John Williams' music from Harry Potter too much and imagining of what might happen. Doh! I did it again!
Don't worry about it my friend. Take your time and don't stress over it. I enjoyed your stories and I'm sure that whatever you come up with will be awesome!
I'll happily wait until you finish writing or whenever you feel it's ready.
