This week, we've got one of the funniest episodes yet as the populace of Maretime Bay reveals that they have no lives whatsoever.

I almost didn't even feel like having my morning banana after watching this.

No lives? That's what happens when Zephyr Heights introduces the rest of Equestria to the internet. Now everypony is a social media junkie.

This might be one of the few TYT episodes that actually impressed me. It's one thing to teach kids to take their embarrassing flub-ups in stride. It also helps that, despite how insensitive a lot of these ponies got, the episode low-key assures you that none of them mean any malice to Sunny (although that isn't always the case; especially if a kid does something embarrassing in front of their peers. Kids can be monsters).

But you know what really sold me on this episode? From the moment that Sunny went viral, I found myself wondering whether the episode would have worked better if it had been Pipp instead of Sunny. If a public icon like her had to deal with this sort of thing. But no, she's actually been through it already! She's learned how to handle it, and she's there to teach Sunny how to do the same.

I say it was pretty funny. Sunny took the banana thing to a whole new level, if it's not one banana peel that makes you slip, it's a bunch of bananas piling on you after the slip. That's a new banana record and that went to the next level. It was funny.

Is it worse that ZBS isn't even a local news station? I mean, they're local to Zephyr Heights, and this is Maretime Bay. It'd be like CNN reporting on a viral meme... and here I'm trying to figure out if a local news station would be more likely to report on a meme than CNN. Also, I think I may have insulted ZBS by comparing them to CNN.
