Foresight held onto Chrysalis with his right hoof, clutching his sabre in his left. As the Queen approached the battle, he raised the sabre, ready to cut down anyone he needed.
And so, he did. When Chrysalis ran past an Equestria, Foresight swung the sabre swiftly, cutting them down. And if he wasn’t slicing and cutting, he was kebabing ponies, kicking them off after a while of carrying them. Chrysalis circled back, charging in for another charge. And another. And another.
Foresight panted, putting the sabre at his side. He drew his bolt-thrower, firing at any Equestria he could get a good lock on.
“You alright up there, Foresight?!” Chrysalis asked.
“Yeah! I’m alright!” Foresight called back, reloading his bolt-thrower. Chrysalis nodded, beginning to run again, unaware of the eyes watching them.

Melodic peered through her scope. She watched as the two changelings. She breathed, before squeezing the trigger. She watched as Chrysalis fell to the ground, sending Foresight with her.
“Alright ma’am, they’re down,” she said, turning to Luna.
“Thank you friend. Would you like to advance with us?”
Melodic nodded. “Yes ma’am.” She stood up, grabbing her bolt-thrower. “I could use a better position.”
Luna nodded, allowing her soldiers to move up.

Foresight rubbed his head, looking around. He’d fallen into a crater, dazed. “Chrysalis? You here?” he called out.
“Over here!” her voiced called back. She was laying against the wall of the crater, wincing in pain, holding a hoof up to her chest. “Damn sniper…”
“You need a medic, ma’am!” Foresight said, grabbing her hoof. “Come on, up!”
Chrysalis shook her head. “I’ll be fine, alright. I need you out there to support our bugs.”
“Chryssi, I ain’t leaving you for the rats.”
“You’re not. I’ll find my way back, I always do.” She shooed him away. “That’s an order, Sight.”
Foresight sighed, nodding. “Yes ma’am…” He stood up, grabbing his sabre and sidehoof, climbing out of the crater.
She chuckled, laying back. “Heh… silly bug,” she murmured, before looking up at the sky. She’d never had such a… chaotically peaceful moment of her life. And she quite enjoyed it, despite what was essentially a steel nail in her chest.
