This actually turned out a lot better than I thought, seeing as how this was my first time putting together egg wash, and second time making pancakes (I'm mostly an egg guy).

The taste of french toast with the texture of a bagel.

Bonus Content: Caveman Tomahawk

Something I've wanted to try for years is direct on-the-coals grilling, and I was able to finally do it when a friend of mine found a 52-oz tomahawk ribeye on sale down the street.

I melted a small part of my cutting board when the meat came off the heat and a flaming coal came with it. I carved it up for steak sandwiches and got thumbs-up and requests for seconds all around.

Good thing I just ate this bagel, otherwise these pictures would be making me hungry all over again.

Thanks very much for sharing all of this. It all looks delicious. It's just a good thing I already had a pretty big dinner. Otherwise, I might be hungry again before breakfast time tomorrow.
