All jokes aside, this one’s okay. I think it’s written in a way that emulates a skit in an episode, and it does that quite well (Pinkie Pie bless your soul), great grammar and vocabulary, no real glaring issues there. Most of my brow-quirking came from that one remark above, as this reads pretty much exactly like any can’t-get-to-the-toilet desperation fetish story I’ve read on FurAffinity and similar sites. I guess it’s… toilet humor? Rather on the extreme end, but hey, I’m pretty sure I remember shows like Family Guy playing off this sort of thing for laughs, so I can’t judge there.
Rainbow, Rarity, and Pinkie are very in character, which is a nice change in fics like these! As referenced above, I really got a kick out of Pinkie’s bit, and could absolutely, 100% see it happening in canon. She’s really just… like that, huh?
Casual read, mixed messages, and a pretty funny ending, honestly. Give it a look, whether you like scat or just general toilet humor!

TITLE: Wet Stage Fright

Fluttershy wets herself on stage, and then Rarity does something out of character.
Actually, it’s all written pretty spot-on for their personalities, save the fetish aspect. It has an absurd ending, too, one that’s sure to please pee fetishists everywhere!
I normally read piss fics for desperation, specifically, and there was absolutely none of that here. The character(s) just pee. No fanfare at all, really, which was a little disappointing.
I keep accidentally reading fics by this author (their work is every other story in some pee groups, including some pee desperation groups), so I’m going to try to do that less. Good work, but I don’t want to sully their talent with mindless “eh, wasn’t my cup of tea” remarks.

TITLE: Mud Plot Pie

Y’know, if I wanted overly-bloated literature, I’d pick up the “Lovecraft Short Stories” book I have on my nightstand beside me. Not a scat fic on fimfiction.net.
I just… don’t understand it! More power to the author, really, but I think the overworking of the thesaurus is really unnecessary for what is (trying to be) conveyed.
As for the content itself, it’s… so brief. There’s some scat buried in all these dense paragraphs, I can feel it! I think Pinkie is taking a fat shit after miscommunicating with the local gardener about “getting fertilizer” versus “getting made into fertilizer.”
I mention that fics lack description a lot. For future reference, I’ll use this fic as the example for to much description.

I was totally blindsided by a comment I made on this in 2017. I don’t remember that at all (I remember the contents of the comment, but not the fic). Damn, I’m losing my edge.
This was fucking hilarious. I second my 2017 remark; I want D.C. to read this at one of his infamous panels. I’d pitch it to him myself, but I’d prefer permission from the author first (who was last seen in… 2012… aw). I really got a good chortle out of this.
It’s not GOOD, obviously, it’s not made to be good. It’s funny, the references were a hoot, and the whole thing was just a good old fashioned “It’s buttfuck early in the morning and I haven’t slept yet” read. My biggest gripe is WHY is it split into CHAPTERS? There’s absolutely no need!
Also, I’m a slut for Wesker stuff, parody or not.

TITLE: A Restroom Recipe

You know that scene in the book The Life of Pi where our titular character, in desperation, chooses to try and eat Richard Parker’s shit?
This isn’t that.
When it’s explicit that what’s coming out of Pinkie isn’t shit, I have no real issue with it (not that I have much of a reaction either way). It’s not poop, therefore, it’s not gross. It’s cake batter. Coming out of her butt. Magically. Suspension of disbelief held up entirely by Technicolor Magic Horse World.
But, down to the more interesting bits: I liked this. It’s well written, it’s quirky, it feels in character, and everything flows together quite smoothly. The gross-out humor is at a minimum for me, though the scene of our Mane Six and Luna reacting to Pinkie’s interesting tale was a blast to read. The comedy feels natural, as does everyone’s reactions (even Celestia’s, who’s probably Seen Some Shit in her time and is therefore unphased).
The second chapter is short and sweet, humorous in it’s own right, but nothing out-of-the-ball-park special. A good addition.
“Food scat” is also a kink, apparently, as I’ve encountered it before. I wasn’t much for it until I read this fic. If you like the humor aspect, or the scat aspect, definitely pick this up. And hay! Send a nice comment the author’s way, too. They deserve it.

And that’s that! I have another small handful of reviewed stories (they’ll always be in This Shelf once I’ve written them up) on my gdocs, but I’ll be doing 5 at a time. If I review a longer fic, I might just have a single review in a blog. Stuff that’s over 10k words deserves a little more thought, imo, and I wouldn’t want to just write quips about something with that much work put into it.
