Howdy pardner! It's now spooky season, and as October arrives a new blog post crawls forth from the swamps.

As you can see above, the next chapter for Of Shadows is complete and in the final stages! Currently I'm just putting on the final touches; 10 will be out before the fifth anniversary. I'm very happy with how 10 has shaped up, it involves a few scenes that I've been planning for ages, and gives us the first real look at Zero, who was the third character I ever designed for the story, way back in August of 2016! It's so motivating to finally introduce him into the plot, and there's a few more interesting characters on the way very soon; chapter 11 is underway!

Speaking of, October 23rd is Fallout Day and the fifth freaking anniversary of OSha! Time really flies, doesn't it? I plan on commissioning a fun piece of art for the anniversary; it may not be ready on the day, but I will hopefully have it ready for the next blog c:

• The new MLP G5 movie! I decided to check it out and was pleasantly surprised. The characters and the new art style really grew on me; I love how they got the fan artist Imalou to help with the designs, and you can see her influence especially in the characters' eyes. The animation was done very nicely, none of it felt cheap, and the songs were pretty good too. Overall, it was a strong pilot to the new series, I'm quite interested to see if the show that follows will also be 3D or if they'll return to 2D. I don't expect them to utilize Flash again like G4, but maybe the style of the G4 movie would be a cool middle ground. Also, the pegasi in the movie were so fluffy, it was lovely hehe
• Duck and Cover is receiving a new printing! I would love to buy it but I can't justify the purchase seeing as I did get the first printing back in 2018. The new design is really, really pretty and much more in-line with the FoE, Murky, and Pink Eyes printings; I bet these would all look especially impressive in a lineup!
• Fallout: London has gone from what looked to be a mildly interesting side mod to something truly promising; the project's channel has been posting a lot of updates recently, including this neat trailer that went a bit viral!
• In other Fallout mod news, Sim Settlements is getting a sequel that's revolving around the return/expansion of the Gunners faction, and it sounds like a wild project as a whole. At this rate, I expect Sim Settlements 3 to overhaul the main quest, hehe. It's funny how this much has come from a mod that originally focused around just making settlers build their own damn houses.
• Deltarune Chapter 2 was very good. If you haven't played it or the first part, you should!
