True. Of course, foalcon and similar also legitimizes the idea that sex with minors is not a big deal, and that's bad.

Fanfic is not going to turn anyone into a pedophile, nor is it going to make someone with pedophilic urges to act on them, but let's not pretend fiction can't and won't affect people. (For a hugely positive example, just see how much better racial and queer representation has helped PoC and queer kids and teenagers.)
