ESZ ~ Would you watch videos of me reviewing chapters of the story? · 7:21am Jun 12th, 2021
So I was kinda minding my own business, thinking about things as I do, when I remembered I had an old story on my profile I hadn't done anything about. Y'know, Ein Sof Zealotry. I'm sure you remember this if you're a longtime follower of the story. Or maybe you aren't. Well, I was thinking about the story for awhile and while I certainly want to do something with it, a rewrite, I just haven't had much interest. I just didn't really know where to go with it and what I want to do with it. I had been putting off rereading it for the longest time in order to think of what I should do and with me starting a new project and doing other things IRL, along with 2020 happening which put a hold on a lot of plans indefinitely, it just fell into the background. Then I had an idea.
Would you be interested in watching videos about reviewing the chapters of the story?
Basically my idea for this side project is pretty much exactly what it says. I want to make a voice over of me looking through each individual chapter, talk about what I enjoyed, what I didn't enjoy, what I'd change, and what the thought process going into the writing was during the time. It would give me a chance to reflect and would give me a pretty good excuse to look over the story again, while also giving you content and work on my video editing skills, give me an excuse to actually do something with my Youtube Channel other than just sit there, and all this may help me think of what would go into the rewrite. But while I would like to do this in my spare time, I'd like to know if there would be an audience for it.
Whatever the case, my plan is to post the videos onto Youtube and then link them onto blog posts and into the author comments on the chapters themselves. I dunno, what is your opinion?
I'll make a video or two and go from there to decide what to do. In the meantime, I thank you again for your patience and support.
For what it's worth, I'd watch them. Wouldn't typically do that, but Ein Sof Zealotry introduced me to the concept of fanfics, so...
