I'm going to give all the Odium stuff a complete makeover. · 2:00am Apr 10th, 2021
I've decided to rewrite the whole Day of Reckoning story in its entirety. By that, I mean, by given everything, including Odium himself, a complete makeover in order to make it a hundred times better than it was before. But first, I need to know all the problems that the current story and Odium had in order to make sure they're all fixed and improved. Can somebody do that for me through either a list, or more or less a paragraph?
I think it is fine the way it is.

Thanks. I'm not trying to be rude or ungrateful, but why?

Because you worked real hard on it to make it really good and I don't think you need to make any changes.

Okay. Thanks.

You're welcome!
Two words self reflection.
I have spent two year perfecting a story and have rewriten it dozens of times.
I work alone, you need to realize the faults of your characters yourself, their motives actions and those of others need to be rock solid to have a interesting story.
Self reliance should be your top priority
You shouldn’t need a list to know what’s wrong you should figure it out yourself.
This is where a page of mental notes for your story comes into play. I do this all the time with my stories. I write down characters and put down what their personality traits are and possible situations I would want them to be in.
The mental notes I write for my stories help me keep track of everything too. Also, it might be a good idea to have an ending in mind for your story before you begin to write it. Also when you come up with the ending, stick to it and don't change it.
It would also help if you write a simple outline for it that way you have a clear direction for your story.
I also had the same problem of rewriting a story over and over again before I gave up on it. Then I started doing what I stated above and it helps me out with my stories big time.
This blog that I recently wrote might be of some help to you.
