Chapter 29 draft complete! · 5:37pm Mar 7th, 2021
Whew! It took... *way* too long, but Chapter 29 has been fully drafted and just needs a day for me to read over it to smooth out the super, super rough edges. Unemployment has been an absolute mess for me mentally and I've lost track of how many scenes I've written, rearranged or pushed forward to Chapter 30. Expect to see the next chapter up and published this week! After that I hope to return to a mostly regular once-a-month schedule. :)

Thanks, it hasn't been too bad thankfully. I've found support, approved for unemployment insurance and food stamps. So the basics are mostly covered. The tricky bit is finding a job that pays enough for me to afford my mortgage payments. Most of my work experience is with equine reproduction and care, and that industry has frozen hiring hard. Convincing someone that I'm office management material is a hard sell when all they see is a stuttering yokel.

Pfft +1 for that, you turkey. ;) I'll be alright, definitely. It's just a little more chaotic right now between searching, applications, interviews, rejections and all that good stuff. I'll tell you what though, I'm learning real quick how to cook in bulk!
