Facts: Rumored to have survived the Canterlot Invasion, which was where she was supposedly killed, and is in hiding. Fortuna is also the only one aside from Thorax who is allowed to call Pharynx "Phary".

Background Info:
Fortuna Larynx, who appeared briefly in Chapter 19 of Patrilineality: Making Up For Time We Lost, was the former mentor of Pharynx Elytron. "Fortuna" is Spanish for "Luck" or "Fortune" and it is believed she was named such because of her coloring. Most drones only had blue coloring to them, but Fortuna was born with gold and silver tones, along with a mane. Typically, only those of the royal family displayed alternate coloring, and only royal females were said to be born with manes. Because of this, Fortuna was rumored to have royal blood, and was treated with more respect than the average drone.
Fortuna became General of the Hive due to hard work, and though most did not share her ideals of fighting to create peace, they respected her authority. Fortuna trained Prince Pharynx Elytron since he was six years old, and he began to see her as a second mother (one, he still says to this day, was much better at being a mother than Chrysalis ever was). This is why he allowed her to call him "Phary", though only when they were alone. Fortuna taught him mental strength, respect, and patience along with fighting, and he always treated her with such respect.
Fortuna was said to have given her life during the Canterlot Invasion, defending Pharynx's brother Prince Thorax Glyder from an attacking pony. Pharynx, having completed his training, was promoted to Head General in her place. Pharynx and Thorax were forever in her debt after the Invasion, and while Thorax believes he's repaid her generosity and sacrifice by bringing about the peace she always hoped to see, Pharynx still believes himself in her debt. He still respects her deeply, and visits her final resting place often.
Some believe Fortuna survived the Invasion, and remains alive, in hiding and unaware of the Hive's reformation. It is unclear if this rumor is true, or merely a way the changelings cope with her loss.
