When I first started writing Sombra's Bat, I thought it might be 10k words long at most. That became 15k, then 20k, then 25k... Then I realised how much I had to say about this world in my head.
Now, I've realised that no matter how long it ends up being, I'll never be able to explain everything that I need to. I've unintentionally started writing something that's going to require a prequel/sequel/side story. By 2022, this might even be a series.
For those of you who have been reading the story, what do I do with this world I've made? Do I write a prequel about the events leading up to the Season 3 premiere in this alternate timeline? Do I continue this timeline once the story is done? Or should there be a story about what was going through Celestia's mind when this happened? Or perhaps just after NMM appeared? I want to hear your ideas.
Man, 59k words?? Congratulations!! I have GOT to get around to reading it, but I've been trying to write myself. I'll comment every time I finish a chapter though.
