Try using a cranky-old-man archetype. He's impatient, highly demanding, easily angered, and doesn't tolerate mistakes. He's waited for this moment for thousands of years, and he will not be undermined by the incompetence of his followers. He's also wise beyond understanding, so there's nothing they can do which he hasn't figured out. That can make him arrogant.
Watch ALL of S9 first before you make a decision on what to do with Grogar.... trust me... it'll probably be better in the long run.
