Honestly, this isn’t very good for all the employees. They’ve ALL just lost their jobs. Sure, some of the personalities and celebrities in the company can go independent and do well for themselves, but all the background techs, writers, animators, camera crews, etc. are all jobless, without any notice at all. They only just found out about it today too, after so many promises of having their job security intact.
So many lives have just been ruined by this news. RWBY is the least of their concerns right now. And besides, RWBY, Gen:LOCK, and Red Vs Blue are going to be pawned off to other companies, and mark my words, Crunchyroll is gonna sink its claws into RWBY and milk it for every dime it’s worth.

I can sympathize for what few good employees they have, but truth be told, it was a toxic environment. Hopefully the good ones will find something better.
I'm also concerned for the fate of Death Battle.
