I know! Terrible.
Just popping in for my periodic State of the Dancer, you know how I do.
Previously, I was lamenting my lack of free time due to the whole working full time and having my smol child. I decided to add to that by rebooting the soap business.
But I have a spiffy new name and logo to go with it, so I'm not even mad. Shop is here, if you're into Facebook. Apparently it takes ages to get the stamped version of an ein, so I'm stuck with Facebook.
Aside from that, I've been just holed up and trying not to get sick. That's been my 2020 goal. Succeeding so far, as I hope all of you are too.
I do need to take some 'me' time soon, maybe play more Among Us with Plum n' Co.; or maybe get my tush back to Eorzea in FFXIV. I've been working overtime at the 9-5 pretty consistently and wound up burning myself out, so now I'm back to normal hours there. I also wish I could get back the story writing spark I had, but so much goes on these days... I don't know.

It’s good to hear that there’s people who still have not gotten sick at all and probably won’t. I ended up getting what was very likely a false negative recently and it was awful to go through, especially with how it effected my finals this semester. Please stay safe yourself. I hope your family is well too.

Just do remember to get your "me" time, especially this time of year. I know with a kid around, with all of this, there's going to be the temptation to roll up your sleeves and personally pound some holiday cheer into the year. Half the parents in the world are going to lose their minds by New Years, we just have to try not to be among them.

I've been just staying holed up inside for the most part, besides necessary trips to grocery or socially distanced meetups to sell my wares to locals that dont want to pay shipping, which is fair enough. I am c a r e f u l

That’s such a relief to hear; most people I know haven’t been able to quarantine nearly to nearly that degree and there’s just always the folks who try to break social distance stuff too and it’s aaaaaaaa

I'm blessed to work at home for both of the jobs I do, and my child does online schooling, and my husband also works from home. We're also a family of introverts, so going out isn't high on the priority list, even for the youngest guy.
