I'm a brony and a Pinkie Pie fan but I like all of the mane six, as well as Spike. I hope to provide some entertaining and interesting fanfics for the Brony community.

    Episode Re-Review: Non-Compete Clause

Well, the next several episodes to be re-reviewed are going to be tough to get through, many of them contain some of Season 8's worst missteps or otherwise blunders. But I gotta get through them. This episode marked the debut of yet another new writer in the form of Kim Beyer-Johnson, who among her previous writing credits wrote for Transformers: Rescue Bots, which aired on The Hub and

    Episode Re-Review: Horse Play

Season 8 finally had an episode that made use of its changes to the status quo with "Surf and/or Turf", which many said was FiM tackling the trickly subject of divorce (though I personally don't see it). However, the episode also felt at times like it was more of a belated commercial for the 2017 movie rather than an actual episode, and the School of Friendship itself was only sort of relevant to

    Episode Re-Review: Grannies Gone Wild

Well, Tell Your Tale finally decided to try to do something interesting, because the last episode showed Sunny's mom in a flashback. But they didn't even give her a name, let alone elaborate on what happened to her. And given the way Tell Your Tale progresses, I'm not expecting any follow-up anytime soon. Getting back to G4, Season 8 hit its first stumbling block only four episodes in, and the

Episode Re-Review: Fake It 'Til You Make It

Oh joy, it's back to Season 8. Season 9 has its fair share of detractors, but hardly anyone I know ever sings Season 8's praises, and for good reason. We now know that the School of Friendship was added at Hasbro's request because they wanted the show to wrap up with nine seasons, forcing the writers to change their plans for the pillars. About the only good thing to come out of Season 8 seems to

Special Re-Review: Equestria Girls: Forgotten Friendship

While we now know that this has to take place not just before Season 8 but before the events of the 2017 FiM movie, it first premiered in February of 2018, about a month before Season 8 of FiM hit the airwaves. Interestingly, the Discovery Family broadcast omitted several scenes that were later released as part of an "extended" version. As for the writer, it was none other than Nick Confalone,

R.I.P. Sean Connery · 4:22pm Oct 31st, 2020

In news unexpected yet probably also long coming, it's been confirmed that former James Bond Actor Sir Sean Connery died overnight at his estate in the Bahamas, he was 90 years old.

Although not the only actor to be considered for the role of James Bond when the British secret agent's film career began, Connery ultimately won the part even over the protests of Ian Flemming who had written the short stories that the film series was to based on (Flemming ultimately came around though, even writing his next book to give Bond a Scottish heritage to reflect Connery being a native born Scot). Connery took up the role beginning with Dr. No in 1962 and would stay in the role all the way through You Only Live Twice in 1967 before walking away. He returned officially for Diamonds Are Forever in 1971 after agreeing to a record salary (most of which he donated to charity) and unofficially for Kevin McCloy's Never Say Never Again in 1983 as a retired James Bond.

Connery also had a notable film career following Bond, including playing the role of Indiana Jones' father in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade and starring alongside Alec Baldwin in The Hunt For Red October. His film career ended in 2004 after he voiced displeasure with his final role. But he would reprise the role of James Bond in voice for the 2005 video game From Russia With Love as his final voice performance (he had a few roles here and there). Most interesting is that Connery was already naturally bald by the time he took up the role of James Bond and wore a toupe throughout the role, the only time he ever did so throughout his life. In recent years he'd been living in obscurity after it was revealed he was suffering from alzhemiers disease, and had apparently been "feeling unwell" for some time now.

Connery now joins departed Bond actors such as Lois Maxwell as Miss Moneypenny, Bernard Lee as M, and his first true successor in Sir Roger Moore. His legacy will live on through the Bond film series he helped to pioneer.

I only remember him from Indiana Jones as his father rest in peace to him 😔

At least he left a good legacy with his excellent acting as James Bond.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME, 2020!?! and on Halloween too?! it's official- this year is cursed.

ill always remember him as draco.....look to the stars :fluttershysad::heart:

He will be remembered

My favorite actor of all time. Elevated every project he took part in. I quote his film lines daily, from Red October to the Rock to the Untouchables.

I'm devastated.

On the contrary, the 2005 From Russia With Love video game wasn't Sean Connery's final performance. It was actually a 2012 Scottish CGI animated film called Sir Billi where he played the title character. He was also the narrator of a documentary that came out the same year called Ever to Excel. Nevertheless, he will be missed.

One of my favorite Scottish actors alongside Alan Cumming. Here's to you, Sir Sean.

A little something to honor him I feel.

Sean had an incredible legacy; he was awesome in the movies I saw him in. Rest in Peace.
