What do you think will cause Odium's eventual relapse in the story? · 7:31pm Aug 22nd, 2020
Sorry to bother you all, but I need to find some good reason for causing Odium's relapse in the story. The reason for this is because I want his character arc to be more harder and more believable and realistic than the show's usual rushed redemption arcs (No offense).
At first, I wanted to cause it by making Twilight and her friends think about using the reform spell from Keep Calm and Flutter On on Odium after their first fight with him, but after hearing about his backstory and intentions as to why he's after them, they change their minds.
However, when Odium hears that they were going to use it on him, he immediately gets mad at them again and relapses, until he realizes for himself that what he's doing is ironically wrong and relents before wanting to be sent to Tartarus for his crimes out of remorse and extreme self-hatred.
