URGENT: Please, if you're following me at all, read this. URGENT · 6:36pm Nov 24th, 2012
Hi, everypony! How are you guys? Good, I'd hope.
God, I'm done with the small talk. Screw small talk.
This is actually important. I'm... I'm...
I'm sorry, I suppose. But considering my "trainwreck" for the last two stories I've written, it's become time. Time for me to leave this goddamned site for a bit.
I love you guys, I really do. But I can't put up with it. And before you say "oh, boo hoo, look who's whiny," let me explain.
I don't know why, but I'm pretty sure authors don't go from being featured to trainwrecked easily. I've lost something, something I needed. So I'm going.
Not forever, definitely. My hiatuses tend to last about two months, tops. And I'll still be on. Because I'll still be on, this'll be longer. But here's the plan, Stan, Dan, Mann, or whomever.
I'll still be coming on to...
1. Comment occasionally on stories.
2. Check notifications.
3. Edit old stories of mine I've cancelled or given up on, in hopes of finding what made them so good.
4. Pop a new chapter out here or there for Patient.
5. Hide secretly under my hermit bridge.
That brings me to another point. If you can spare a little time, I'm looking for about two editors, proofreaders, and prereaders. Yes, they are different positions. If you can lend a hoof to this old hermit, I'd appreciate it.
Thank you, and temporarily,
Good bye.
Well, if that's what you need to do to get your mojo back, go for it.

I never understood people when they used smilies xD

Thank you.
K, I'll wait
Hey, that's too bad, but at least you're not quiting on us entirely.
And I can try to be a Prereader, for at least one story.
only two things to say:
Goddamned site? Do I even want to know exactly what you mean by that?
"but I can't put up with it"... put up with what?
other than the two things I said above... dude, there's no shame in needing to take a while to stop writing. I can't say that I personally know, but usually when someone "loses their mojo", its because they're no longer inspired. Perhaps this is your problem? Perhaps your earlier stories were better because you were writing because you wanted to, because you were inspired by something and felt like writing about it, where as your last stories may be being written for the sake of writing, not necessarily because you are burning up inside to get an idea you've had on paper...(internet paper)?
edit: shoot, I went to your thing... turns out you're on my watch list because of "twilight sparkle: patient (i dont remember the number)". I haven't read any of your other stories. Its nothin personal, but my little star thing already shows 113, i've got wayyy more things marked to be read than i could ever hope to read... I can't go adding a bunch of new stories now. If I ever get caught up in my reading, I might go back and start reading previous stories from authors that i'm following, but for now... its simply unrealistic... you guys pump out stories (and blog post) way faster than I could ever read them all. Seriously, everyday there's like 10 blog post that I see to be read...

I know what you mean xD I only have 11 on my RL list, but they're all like 100k D:
These stories though, these are the ones I was honestly proud of. Patient was one of my least favorites, and it got featured. Stories I have hated and sound terrible have had more up than down votes, and these two, which I was proud of to some degree, are in TWE.
If ya ever need help just ask, i will help if i can. Also Ask yer self these questions. what is the reason you started writing? what drives you? what do you see in a story? maybe that will help maybe not but its a start.
535508 If i remember right, your twilight sparkle story, my opinion was that it was going somewhere, and had a lot of potential, but you just need to add content, you quit before it got where it needed to go. Like the story was building, building, then you just stopped writing, before we even hit the climax...giggity
I'll miss you
We'll be waiting for you when you get back brother, don't you worry....but you have a safe life out there you heard me?
well, I've not had much experience, but I've been told I have a good eye for detail, so I might be able to help you out . . .
on another note, I'm kinda disappointed that you're leaving, but I understand.
Eh. Hiatuses are a thing that happen, sometimes. I have surprise hiatuses all the time, but no-one notices because I'm too slow anyway.
Also, if you need a second pair of eyes to go over your stories, I'll take a gander if you like.
As a fan, I'd gladly be a proofreader or prereader, if still needed
if you haven't already chosen, i can proofread or preread.
