Applejack and Rainbow Dash were friends for years. They shared laughter, cider, fritters, flights, phone numbers, and simply friendship for the longest time. And after all that, Rarity offhandedly makes the comment they argue like an old married couple. With that, "AppleDash" is the new couple on the block, until Dash just has to call it off. She can't explain why, or what brought her to it, but a week later, she regrets it. Three days later, Applejack's with someone new, and Dash needs to cope with her mistakes.

After a drunken Applejack makes a bet against Carrot Top and loses, she has to leave Sweet Apple Acres for a week and assist her orange-maned friend with Golden Harvests, the only carrot farm in Equestria. And oh boy, is that Carrot Top a looker. Will they be able to keep the work strictly professional? Probably not.

Rarity and Applejack have been together for a few weeks now, but it seems like every day, Rarity becomes more controlling and Applejack is forced to obey her every command. Between them, there's so many words they couldn't say, and for Applejack, there may be two more.

Applejack never left Aunt and Uncle Orange in Canterlot, and became a highly refined mare with a taste for the wild when she isn't attending one of many, many dinner parties. Between such, she has a penpal, a mare named 'Rainbow Dash'. Rainbow Dash sent her some tickets to the Wonderbolts' show in town, in the best seat in the house. When she attends, she's amazed to see Rainbow Dash is the star. They meet for dinner, and things accelerate from there until her aunt and uncle find out. The thought of a highly refined mare with "a show-offish ruffian" is simply outlandish to them. Oh, and the fact that their daughter is a fillyfooler could get her on the streets. Just sayin'.

Here I am, on the front lines of sheer madness. I know I won't make it. My wife knew. But my foal will never know. Never know who I was. So I write this letter to her, in hopes that she'll realize why I did it. Why I'm going to put my and hundreds of other ponies' lives on the line to stop them. I'm sorry, sweetie. But now it's worth it. I can see her, and that's enough.

Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle were always the closer friends of the CMC's. Now they're roommates in Canterlot, where Sweetie studies music and Scootaloo works anywhere she can to put food on the table. Not anywhere anywhere, modest places! Despite this, Scootaloo still lacks a few things. Primarily? Oh, a cutiemark and the ability to truly fly. She's like Fluttershy at the Hurricane, as Rainbow Dash harshly put it. Then Sweetie Belle... well, she drunkenly comes on to Scootaloo. Madness ensues.

We know Twilight Sparkle as the silly little mare who didn't have any friends until she was sent to Ponyville by Princess Celestia. However, the rest of Equestria knows Twilight Sparkle as poor number 107497, a number even foals are taught to be wary of. The filly was perfectly fine, until one last taunt pushed her over the edge, into her own imagination, where she made friends; each friend a part of her mind.

Five years later, as Princess Celestia sits with her comatose student, aforementioned student moves. Both in the physical world, and slowly from her dream world as well.

The war has been going for such a short time, and already Equestria is depleting. Applejack's been sent to work with the residents of Ponyville, providing crops and food for them with the powers she has both as an Element and an Earth Pony. When the time comes, how much power does she have? How far can she push herself to keep everypony fed?
