Howdy folks
So, with my Chapter 14 draft complete and my pre-reader Seriff Pilcrow having gone through it (no worries, Javrod and LuckyShadowWolf, I'll still let you take a crack at this before I publish), he made an important observation:
Well, it wasn't actually too loud, per se, but maybe just a little too long. 12K words for a chapter can be daunting reading for some, and when he pointed that out, I also realized... the chapter has an absolutely natural thematic break. Its almost like I planned this all along. So if you'll bear with me, chapter 14 is now ready to go and is about 6800 words, and chapter 15 is about ready to go but needs a little polish through the fight scene and finale, which will be about 5200 words. Tillie did the arts for chapter 15. I just asked her to provide a piece for chapter 14 as well. If you know her deviant art account, you will have seen the chapter 15 artwork just posted there. Also dropped that on on the shameless self-promotion bureau to stir some interest.
So, TL;DR?
In essence, it made too much sense to split this rather long chapter that covers two entirely different foci, into two distinct chapters.
I'll release 14 this weekend (need the new artz) and will release 15 a few days later or at the latest, the following weekend. Sorry to keep you all waiting. But I think you'll enjoy catching up to the Mane Six for a bit. Anyways, toodle-loo! Here's the next comic below.
