5323236 Update your device with the full Unicode character set, then make sure your browser can use all of Unicode. There's really no excuse for them to not be doing that these days anyways. TLDR; if you can't see the runes, your device isn't capable of displaying every character in every language, which is dumb because we have a thing that exists called Unicode that is meant to do exactly that.
5323758 ... Unicode. The litteral global standard for text encoding. Which has existed since the early 90s, mabey the 80s... How do you not know about it? Its the reson you have Emojis at all. Those are not something Apple invinted, those are from Japan. They are just characters Jpan used as shortcuts which due to being part of unicode you can type on any phone if tyou knew the code (before there were emoji keyboards at least)
Obligatory "Not truly runes unless you're using the Futhark alphabet" comment.

Linux Chromium works.
Homemade runes are actually an awesome idea. I would by no means want to go through that work myself, but that's why it's even more awesome.
