It's true, you have the right to say anything you want. You have the right to lie, cheat, and insult in any way you want, you can speak like a bigot or a racist. But by the same token, I also have the freedom of speech to tell you that you're a piece of trash for believing in terrible and outdated ideals. You call me a bigot, and then you get shocked when I tell you that your mind is a degenerate, shameful mess? Rights go both ways. Actions have consequence, and the inability to accept that is a sign of immaturity. I have the right to ignore you, lash out at you, and to hate you in return.
But that's the thing, I don't want to hate anyone. I don't want to waste my time wracking my brain and heart in rage. And I implore the rest of you to not waste your time in hate, because then the issue of hate speech disappears entirely. Be wise, and be discernable--what can I say more?
