The Next Two Chapters Might be a While · 12:19am Jun 26th, 2020
Chapters 34 and 35 of Finding Friendship are a bit behind schedule. And by that I mean that I may need to entirely rewrite them in order to make them work.
The events that are going to play out in these two chapters are big-- not in the sense that they'll advance the primary plot forward, but more so they're big because of just how much I need them to work out. I've been mentally mapping out some of the things for these chapters since (almost) the beginning, and I need to get these scenes right because I know for a fact that they are going to either make or break this story. These chapters are going to change a lot of people's perceptions on this story, for better and for worse, I've already accepted that much. And I need to get it right.
So if the wait ends up feeling a bit bloated, that's why. Hope this isn't too much of an inconvenience, and thank you all for sticking around this long on my admittedly-a-bit-bloated ride.
That's okay--I'm only just now getting all caught up on the past three chapters, so this works out well for me.
Seriously though, take all the time you need. After all, you can't rush perfection, or even a rough approximation of it, if you really think "perfection" is too generous.
