Before I get to it, I just want to say that I'm doing better. Not perfect but better. In time.
For this commission, I had requested three different versions with the only difference between them is the colors of Sweetie Belle's and Apple Bloom's swimsuits. I think they're all adorable and cute, but I have to say my favorite is the Pink SB/Red AB version. I just think those colors work the best. Please, enjoy.
NOTE: The Yellow SB/Blue AB version is lower res than the other two. If you want a higher resolution, tell me and I will personally send it to you.

It's all personal taste. They're all rather close to me. I find them all adorable.

I definitely like the Pink/Red version. Although, blue looks good on Apple Bloom too!

Apple Bloom surprisingly pulls off a good number of colors.

That one is actually my least favorite, though I still love it. It's just personal taste.
Personally, I think the one up top is the best, because the suits add the strongest colour contrast, which works well for everyone. The other two images, their suits sort of blend in with the background, which doesn't work as well.

Personal taste. The top is my second favorite for the reasons you pointed out. Still, I love them all.

Personally I like the gold SB/Blue AB and the Gray SB/Yellow AB overall they are all great pics but those are my favourites

Yes, the second one is based on Sweetie Belle's and Apple Bloom's primary color scheme. I figured it was mandatory.

They pull off a lot of colors. If I have any regrets, it's that I didn't give Spike any more. Just purple.
