Chapter Idea (Burst) · 2:56pm May 7th, 2020
"Contact!" The human wearing a net shouted, charging at them, zig-zagging to throw off his aim. While that may usually work on most human combatants, Marine was no mere human.
As soon as the human got close, Marine whipped out his C-01s shottie, blasting the charging human's head off, killing him instantly.
"Shit, we gotta go," Marine said. Before he could move, Luna (Who's accompanying him throughout this chapter) places a hoof on his leg, stopping him.
"Why? Does thou not remember saying we must be stealthy?" She asked. Instead of answering, Marine let the multiple strikes of multiple flares echoing through the abandoned city (Manehatten, after an evacuation) speak for him.
"If the gunshots didn't do it, the death marker certainly did," Marine said, before grabbing Luna and sprinting as fast as he could towards the city's exit.
This is basically the rendition of a story idea that's been stuck in my mind, being an avid infection player. The idea behind it is that when there's one survivor, he's usually hiding, but as soon as he kills one of the infected, they all know immediately where he is, and thus chases him relentlessly like a horde of zombies. I was also going to insert the actual sound of a tac insert being placed, but I couldn't find it.
Shit, I should probably say I want opinions. Not like it matters. I don't get them anyway.
