In case you haven't noticed, Kriegspiel got that beautiful green "Completed" slapped on it a couple days ago. I know it's a very different journey to Volume One, but a lot of people seemed to have liked it, and I really enjoyed both writing it and seeing all of the positive attention that it's gotten. You guys are all awesome, thank you for the comments and faves and likes and for sticking around to read the continuing adventures of Phillip Finder and Daring Do!
Now, the question on everyone's lips right now is: what next?
I do have a lot more stories to tell: there's a few small loose threads that I left on purpose, and more of the universe that I want to explore! I've got big plans for Finder and Do, and I hope that you'll stick with me through them.
In the immediate future, I do have a few one-shots for The Alleys of Ponyville that will hopefully flesh out the Noireverse a bit more; if you haven't read that already, please go check it out. I also have plans for a side story focusing on Fluttershy that I want to write. While I'm working on that, I'll also be fleshing out an "interquel" story, a sort of Volume 2.5. This will be a series of non-connected cases for Finder and Do that are meant to introduce some new characters and elements to the story.
All this will hopefully give me more time to work on the outline for Volume 3. I've got a few big villains that will be rearing their ugly heads soon, and I hope to see you there when we officially release...sometime next year, most likely. Hopefully Fimfic will still be up!
If you want the story to end here, it can: I deliberately put the story on a good stopping place for that reason. But if you're still interested, I'll have more for you soon-ish.

The journey of V.2 is nothing short of amazing.
Hopefully, V.2.5 would be as good, if not better, as its predecessors.
