For those wondering why I haven't been doing anything lately

I've been checking the second book I'm going to publish called Lux Locus: The First Awakening. I won't give details right now, but it's a sci-fi fantasy hybrid in the same vein as Warhammer 40K, but with (If I did it right) a balance between grimdark and noblebright with a lot of grays. For the UNIVERSE (not this one book) I have at least 20 alien species (humans included) that will be main

    For my next project

I want to start writing the sequel to my self-published book Reverting Scales. I was going to wait, but it seems it isn't progressing that much in sales, and I don't have the means to pay for advertising.

    Boom! Big Reveal!

Almost done with the Helluva Boss fanfic. Sorry for taking so long. Started working as a...dishwasher. One chap left.

When it's done I'll finish a project I put on hold here then resume Left Behind: Sunny Disposition (it already has two chapters finished, and the third should be done quite quickly).

So, the hundredth story.. · 6:48pm Apr 14th, 2020

Originally I wanted it to be the third story in The true Psychopath series.

Considering Average Expectations did exactly as I expected it to, and seeing the results of other story sequels like Deer Me's, I don't think there's much interest in Psycho nowadays.

Not much else to say. Just the usual heavy depression since July and worsened extensively in August.

I have a discord server also. Was supposed to be a reward for patron followers, but nobody joined it (to be fair, it was a big mess when I started). Could be a good place for some to hang out if they like my stories. I post updates to my fimfic stories on there. PM me and I'll send you a link.

I’m definitely interested.

It was supposed to involve Twilight and the unicorn Psycho saved from the wizard tower being consumed by chaos. They would be trying to find a way to stop the Insanity and Illogic by discovering a wizard that predated even the princesses and allegedly discovered the secret to stopping them, which is where the golem beneath Twilight's tree came from.

Very neat idea. Also if I really like what I see I may consider contributing a little on patreon in the future if a few extra euros would help you out and keep you motivated to keep writing.

5242476
That's fully up to you. It's your money after all.

5242477
I know but I hate to see someone as talented as you go so unappreciated these days. But yeah that will still be if I like what I see with your books and other stories. It’s been a long while (since maybe 2015ish?) since I’ve read something by you to be honest XD. To be fair I haven’t read much of anything in recent times by anyone. I just kinda lurk here these days.

5242480
WEll, in terms of fics here, you can read Lovie Dovie and Deer Me: Black Snow (Look at the Deer Me briefly just to see the cover art).

5242484
That is definitely some interesting cover art you’ve got there. Why those two fics in particular?

5242510
Because they're the ones that were the most popular in the latest time span. You could read Singular's Demise and all the stories leading up to it if you want as well.

So many stories I wanted to explode with potential fame and no one cared to read them...At least the two in question were successful. THe sequel to Deer Me less so.

5242526
Oh alright. You really like having your stories in the limelight huh? I guess who doesn’t here. At least you have had some successes, can’t win ‘em all.

5242554
Not a tremendous success. Not frontpaging all the time. Just enough that people like to talk about them and comment on the contents.

I have interest, just not a lot of time to slurp up the wonderful horse words...

5242559
There are many authors who aren’t frontpaging anything so I’d say you’re still well ahead of the curve.

Nobody wants to join my discord server. Fair enough.

Aaah, more proof that all my plans lead to failure.

I am much more likely to read completed stories. If it will never be completed, my interest is lost.

5264368
If no one reads then I don't finish.

5264387
At least twenty-two people read it, and liked it. That is not no one.

5264600
That's hardly much, considering my other stories as examples and how far I've come since I first started.

5264601
It is still more than me, and not even close to the "no one" hyperbole you wrote.

5264602
It's still hardly anyone. It's like I'm being told my new stories are bad. Even my very first story got more attention when I first started it, and I was bad at writing back then.

5264603

It's like I'm being told my new stories are bad.

That's the depression talking.

5264621
I know, but seeing hardly anyone read my stories anymore isn't exactly comforting. Even the short story I wrote in a blogpost got more attention than the newest story in the same lapse of time.
