New story: One Hug Bug · 9:49pm Apr 11th, 2020
So, like few times before, I'm now making a blog post so that those who have been following the last changeling story get a notification.
One Hug Bug is supposed the chronological finale of everything. Set over two hundred and fifty years after the original Boss' trilogy, it follows the aftermath of the complete destruction of the rest of the universe in Legacy of Light. The idea is that the story is not going to require knowing Legacy of Light, done mostly through Three's point of view who has almost no clue what happened on the surface, and he will have to find out the majority of relevant information on his own.
Of course, knowing what state the world is in at the time from Blazing's, Cromach's, and Joy's storyline adds details, but Three will have to deal with the Corrupted and everything anyway. The way I've got it plotted out, it's going to be a long, slow ride like always. The first chapter/arc is out already, and I hope you enjoy it as well a what's coming.
I'm not sure about update schedule yet. Having to be cooped up inside due to coronavirus and working from home is throwing off my routine completely, plus the copious amount of painkillers for the constant headache isn't helping.
Anyway, I hope you're all doing okay these days, and that the few words here and there on this site are helping you kill time in at least a little pleasant way.
Could you imagine if Three gained ultimate knowledge and power? He would reform the Spindlies and turn them into healing, hug monstrosities.
It would be awsome for Three to ascend to Godhood, and return from "friendship camp" with his "friends" to fix everything. .. if three doesnt deserve to replace nightmare and become a god, no one does.
Also... how old is shining?...

If we assume he's around 30 in the series, he's 280-ish now. Explanation why that is the case is in either "Corrupted Lands" or "New Age", I can't recall.

Well, Twisted are all dead now, courtesy of the BFG. As for ascension to godhood, that's technically possible due to events in "Legacy of Light" and the destruction of true god Nightmare, although as to how that would happen, I don't know. The complete divine power straight up isn't possible to possess by anyone not already born from it. It required trickery and the complete unified will and sacrifice of hundreds of millions to push Nightmare away from a single planet only for few seconds, and a demigod-tier natural energy manipulator/alicorn of Death like Blaze to control it.
And besides, if 3 somehow became a god, even a good one, Blaze really wouldn't like that. Although if there was something like the alicorn of Happiness...

I know no way, was joke, buuut... say he WOULD tho. He could bring the twisted back from "friendship camp" and turn them into pony looking hug monsters. Can you imagine a smaller, pink or purple shuffles, or maybe just pink tunes on them like his legs, except more pony like and more tentacles running around, scaring the crap out of others, trying to give them hugs. Then when they finally gets a hold of blind pony, and then the bling pony LOOKS at his wife, and/or a foal with a missing leg and straight up GROW THAT BESH BACK! And the mother looks at this tentathingy, tears in her... ... why the hell am I putting this much thought into this...

It is a fun thought, but you do realize that the friendship camp thing was a lie told to 3 about him vaporizing few hundred creatures with a massive BFG plasma shot?
Plus, Shuffles was released from his/their suffering by Blaze in "New Age", and thus hasn't existed for some 4 years already, which 3 doesn't know. Although 3 having a chewing gum-like pet with tentacles does sound like something I might incorporate... eventually.

When three became a God he gained the knowledge of what really happened, so he went back in time and took them all to a real afterlife camp to to teach them how to hug the worl... I KNOW IT WAS A LIE!. that's why it was in quotes! Also I know got Dayumt, i read. Just let me have my imagination. I didnt have one when I was a kid! I'm 25 now and I want three to LITTERALLY hug the world! When he is a God he can do it! Then he can have his army of tentahugs hug the world FOREVER MUAHAHAHAHAHA...

It's gonna take a while. The stories usually go for about a year, although I intend this one to have a bit faster pacing, just as a challenge for myself.
