Re: today's TEK chapter + Covid19 stuff · 1:24am Apr 10th, 2020
Hi y'all!
Just a quick update notes regarding today's chapter (currently unposted but should be up in an hour or so).
I mentioned last update that I estimated two more chapters before the arc is done. Well, as always, I WAS WRONG and it's gonna be a bit longer. I had an outline I was following, and then near the end of my outline, my writing instinct was all, "I HAVE A DIFFERENT IDEA" and I was all "BUT THE OUTLINE" and it was all "I'M THE OUTLINE NOW" and so stuff didn't go as planned. But for the better! This new direction works much better.
I'm sure at this point other writers would be like "mono, if you finished stuff before posting, this wouldn't keep happening" to which I say, valid and true and fair, but when have I ever been a reasonable writer ahahahaha never, the answer is never.
Anyway, yeah, I'm going to stop estimating how long it'll be, because that never works, and just post stuff instead.
I'm also moving the recent interlude to take place after Chapter 20 because it fits better thematically with the new outline SO ALL OF Y'ALL PRETEND YOU ONLY READ IT AFTER TODAY'S CHAPTER AND BE LIKE YOOOOOOOO
Ok, that was TEK stuff.
Covid stuff now. I'm mostly okay, but I'm not sure what my job situation is going to be like (I've had a few talks with my boss and he's doing his best to keep me on board), so I'm going to try and promo my ko-fi a little more. Beyond that, I'm being as productive as I can despite the pretty depression situation the world is plunged in, and I'm hoping to continue with my good update streak. I really want this friggin arc over with lol.
