What's stuck in my head today: Då Som Nu För Alltid · 1:35am Apr 9th, 2020
This was the 2016 farewell song of Kent, a Swedish band. Its title means "Then as Now Forever", or maybe "We Are Forever". The video is essential to this one. It's basically one refrain, over and over, with a relentless drumbeat, so it can be brutal to have it stuck in your head. (Kind of like Bolero. The music, not the movie.)
Re. that hairdo: This came out well before Suicide Squad, but 2 months after the Suicide Squad trailer, so you can make up your own mind about whether it drew from that or not.
I like it that, for once, a band broke up amicably enough that they could write a farewell song.
The thing that sticks out to me... big cats are vulnerable to the disease of the day, this is known.
I always hated Bolero.

She was just a tad before my time. I vaguely remember as a kid seeing her in a couple of commercials, but 10 came out before I was watching anything but kiddie movies. I don't think I've ever seen a movie with her in it.

She was not.
I was a horny teenager when 10 came out and I vividly recall being repulsed by her insectile face, her pretentious oh-so-down-with-the-colored-folks 'do (except I have never seen a black person wearing fucking paperclips in their hair, ever, in my sixty years on this planet), and her general aura of freakishness.
But what turned me off most about her was that she was dumb.
She had a husky voice that gave voice to a husk. She had bedroom eyes but there was no bedroom behind them. Only a void. Everything about her body was taut and sharp. Everything about its animating spirit was slack and dull. I'd say she had the personality of bread dough, but that's an insult to Poppin' Fresh.
Oh *shudder* I'd sooner stick my dick in something from the island of Doctor Moreau.
I remember this music video. Not because I'm a fan of the band, but because people who know my tastes showed me a video with a skull-faced marching band turning into an army of the dead.
