The reason I write is because I want to read a story written for myself. One day, I want to read one of my own stories and say to myself "That is the best story I have ever read."

    Merry Christmas

So to start off, I wish a heartfelt and sincere Merry Christmas to everybody, or Happy Holidays for those who do not celebrate.

Of course, I know that the feeling of needing to be happy at this time is quite taxing. I see it a lot in my day job doing social work. To those, I do wish that at least your hardships be soothed for a short period of time.

Vren55's Covid Blog The Long Stories Recommendation Issue · 1:27am Mar 28th, 2020

So for those stuck in home and bored out of their life, imma try to do some blogging and keep ya'll entertained.

Today, I have some long fimfictions, fanfiction and free stuff for you all to consume whilst confined at home, for mostly free.

First up,
The Buzzfeed Unsolved Network has a fun collection of ghost stories, unsolved murder mysteries, and other content that will keep anybody entertained for the free price of selling your soul to Youtube XD

Next, in the realm of monster fics and Kaiju fics, there is one MLP x Godzilla crossover that towers above them all. It's Dr. Tarbtano's

TThe Bridge: A Godzilla-MLP Crossover
A devastating battle in the Kaiju universe transports a small group of them, heroric, villainous, and otherwise to Equestria. New bodies, new world, new society. But what happens when something even Kaiju are afraid of follows them?
Tarbtano · 1.3m words  ·  2,136  80 · 116k views

Which is an epic tale that really really fleshes out the idea of... "what if Godzilla came to Equestria?" in the best possible way. Kaiju fans are going to have a treat and MLP fans like me will enjoy the interactions between the Kaiju and Equestrians.

I may have mentioned this when blogging about updating my story "A Fractured Song" But there's this Reddit site filled with original fiction that will tide you over. This is RedditSerials filled with many many original authors writing a whole host of interesting stories. Check it out!

Up next, I've never played Mass Effect, but this monster fanfic is amazing and is a must read, here is: "The Spirit of Redemption" a complete 3 million word story with rip-roaring action, drama, romance and Slice of Life (it's a true true epic) that covers Post ME2. READ IT!!!!

Finally, my favorite Youtube content creators: here is OVERLY SARCASTIC PRODUCTIONS an amazing youtube channel that does trope talks, film reviews, mythology and history videos, all brilliantly narrated.

I recommend you start with their Miscellaneous Myths Playlist here:

That's all for now folks. I hope this keeps you busy for a bit and your mind off covid!
