Greetings, everyone,
decided to write this blog post to give you a small update on all matters, real and fictional.
First of all, confined in my own home due to "obligatory" vacation from work and out of safety reasons, I wish you all the best and offer a word of support in this most unique situation. I think it is safe to say that most of us never encountered quite such an impactful, pandemic scenario in our lives and it's a new experience for most. The more important to express our solidarity and support among ourselves. This too shall pass, like everything, but let us try to derive as much good out of it as we can right now, by showing care for those in need around us and supporting one another when we are feeling down, all while being responsible. So take heart, we can make it through this!
And now the "fictional" part. Another setback of purely technical nature has stalled the finishing of the "Passion with a Batpony" cover. To the chagrin of both me and the artist.
I was deliberating whether I should just post the story and add the picture later, though unfortunately, my desire to deliver the best content I could muster was kicking me in the shins quite vehemently whenever I thought of that choice. However, taking into consideration my own words of "deriving good" from the current situation, my plan became as follows. Using the additional time, I shall dive into the next chapter of "Journey with a Batpony" so that, when the cover is done, the time between the "Passion" and the continuation of the main story is minimal. If everything goes well, I should be able to publish the side tale and follow it up in a day or two later with a regular chapter. Or two, depends.
Whatever the outcome, I will do my best not to leave you hanging. I dare to believe that my work might be, at least in a small amount, helpful in granting all of us at least a moment of respite.

In situations like this its wise to take advantage of them, for the crazy days will come. Its even inspired me to do a bit of writing myself, though my perfectionist nature makes me doubt I will ever actually post it.
