Hey! It's ready, and published! · 4:59am Feb 22nd, 2020
So, I finished editing and fixing up and all that stuff my new book, and due to how Amazon works, the changes will be available any time between the next hour, and the next 48 hours. As for now, I have a bone to pick with Amazon that I'm sure you guys will get a kick out of. It's a minor thing, but it still bugs me, and it's something that I'm sure you guys will catch once you see the new manuscript.
You see this?
That's how the patreon page looks in my original manuscript.
This is what it looks in the preview page:
And I have no clue what's causing it.
So, I'm sorry your name is wonky, Topazmoon, it's not something I have control over. I'll be arguing with Amazon over it, to try and get it fixed, but until then I'm going to have to publish as is.
"Canary In The Coal Min"?
5207716 f. I was sitting there erasing and rewriting things for over an hour, trying to fix things on my end. I guess I missed something. I'll fix it the second I can (the amazon thing doesn't let you make changes to something right after you hit publish changes. You have to wait a few hours before they let you make edits again).
Cool. And its all good. :) Still can't wait till you publish the next one too.
Only thing I can think of is, maybe it needs an extra tab? or maybe there is a tab or spaces on the other side of the name for some reason?
Or hit enter for a new line and just add a few spaces in it. Might make the Amazon thing register a new line that can be off centered but invisible since its just spaces maybe.
Overall, like I said its all good, if its a little wonky does not really effect anything :)
Line Break instead of Carriage Return?
5207831. Nope. Otherwise I could fix it myself.
5207831 Also, that particular program that Amazon has is less an editor and more a previewer, as it doesn't actually allow you to do any editing. It lets you upload a document, which it automatically puts to pages, and lets you see the results, but no actual editing.
5207815 Nope, not that either, sorry. I checked.
I read it when you first published, so I'm wondering just how different it is now?
5207980 Its mainly corrections to grammer, but there is at least one new scene in there, as well as one scene removed. Specifically, it is the scene of Si'feri the seer visiting the high priest of the disgraced noble dakri. She still visits him, but the aftermath of that scene is gone, replaced instead with a changeling scene. A few others have been reedited and reworked for better clarity as well, but that's the biggest one.
If you already purchased it, you'll be able to update your e-copy to the latest version free of charge.
