    Xlibris

Hey, you guys ever hear of Xlibris? I've got an offer from them to publish my book, but I'm getting some shady vibes from some of the reviews I've read about them. Any thoughts?

    Amazon's changing it's print costs.

So, as of June 20th, Amazon will be changing its print costs. Specifically, everything is going to be a bit more expensive. If you were on the fence for buying a physical copy of my books, now's the time to change your mind, seeing as how the price is going to increase in a couple of months. Thought I'd give you all the heads up.

    What I Am: Aftermath chapter.

Hey, guys, I'm writing a conclusion chapter for What I Am. Nothing too substantial, given that a sequel and spin off already exist, but I thought I'd put it down as both a way to let those that don't exactly follow me (or, at the very least, don't follow my blog) know that the second book is out, and also know that A Darkened Sky is about to get a whole lot of chapters.

    Fool's Gambit.

Man, did you ever go back and just... cringe at what you did before? That happened to me with Fool's Gambit. The story has plenty of potential, that's not the problem. My problem is with how it's written. The prose is off, there are numerous errors, and I feel like the whole thing is rushed. Like, that first part could have easily been 4-5 chapters longer, and it would have been better for

    Live on Google Play!

Hey, guys, just wanted you to know that What I've Become and Nightmare of the Past is now live on Google Play! So, if you didn't have a kindle-compatible device before, you can buy both books for 3.99 each right now on Google Play! I'll be working to get them into more outlets during the next couple of days, so keep an eye out for them!

Live on Google Play! · 5:52am May 2nd, 2023

Hey, guys, just wanted you to know that What I've Become and Nightmare of the Past is now live on Google Play! So, if you didn't have a kindle-compatible device before, you can buy both books for 3.99 each right now on Google Play! What I've Become

Nightmare of the Past

Also, I'm nearing completion for several new chapters on my fimfiction stuff, so keep an eye out here for those, too! I told you I'd have more up soon!

Finally, please remember to leave a rating on my stories. It really does help, and I like to read what you guys think of what I've made, here. Whether it's on Amazon, or on Google Play, or any other place I manage to find to house these books, I'd like you to help me spread the word that there's a story out there. If you think it's worth reading, then please tell others that as well!

Amazing I don't like the deliberate limitations of the kindle.
Have one, it's an older model, it only supports two extensions: amazon's and mobi, which is a deliberate limitation... most sorting functionality is limited to the store, etc.
Were I to save as much as it's local memory allows I would be unable to find anything.
Though according to reviews they have the best screen quality and longevity
Anyways gonna get this after paycheck, I only have paper money at this time.
#edit, ok apparently newer kindles have different extension support.

5725922 Thank you! Glad to have you a part of this!

So I bought the first book on Google Play at least until I can afford to buy the physical books. The feature to download the book as an epub or pdf file is disabled so I can't use my e book reading app (natural reader) and the built in google read aloud is disabled for the book too. The only way for me to listen to it is using the phone's talkback app which is terrible and makes my phone unusable.

I can understand the download being disabled if you're worried about people sharing files but is there a way to turn on the read aloud feature for the ebook or is that more involved than just a simple text to speech?

5728302 I meant to enable that, actually. I misspressed the wrong thing, and now I'm unable to switch it back. If you give me a bit, I'll see what I can do to fix it.

5728306 Okay, as an experiment, I've adjusted the settings on the first one. Tell me if that lets you download the book.

Sorry I was at work, after googling it more while on break I realized the android instructions didn't specify any way to download as anything else. The computer instructions did so now that I'm home I was able to download the pdf file. Thank you again looking forward to rereading the story through a new non-pony lens.
