And once more, we have arrived on Hearth's Warming Eve. It's time to celebrate Equestria's discovery, foundation and the peace, unity and friendship between the three pony tribes of Equestria again. And their friendship is especially important this year, after everypony just got reminded on the consequences that hatred and disharmony have:

As every year, I will take a short writing break over the holidays. That includes New Year's Eve and New Year's Day, as well as January 6th. I will write between the holidays again, as too long of a writing break has proven unhealthy for my writing skill in 2016.
On December 27th and 29th, I will rework the first chapter of "A Storm on the Horizon of the Arcane World" to make it more interesting after the reception it has received, I will do some Season 9 writing and maybe start working on the first season of "My Little Pony: Guardians of Crystal Growth" already.
But on the holidays, I take a nice, relaxing break from writing. It is especially needed this year, after writing "Pinkie Pie's Hearth's Warming Vacation", my second-longest one-shot story to date which took a lot out of me.

Oh, a comment by Impossible Numbers, that comes as a surprise.^^ Thank you! I hope so, too. This year hasn't been easy, many awful things happened for the most part of 2019. Only at the end of the year, in the last two months of it, it has begun to be bright again.
The story here is sadly underperforming, but I have come to expect that from holiday stories I write, I did not have much luck with them so far. The next one, I will have to release earlier, not so close to the holiday it's for.
I hope you'll have good days, too, and that writing will work well again for you soon.

I know the feeling.
This year's been lousy, both from a productivity standpoint and from a "feeling at all happy" standpoint. Mine has improved lately as well, though I'm still not 100% satisfied. At least your work has spread its wings and can now fly. Still trying to get mine off the ground.

Also same here, it starts to get better for me, but it's not fully back to where it was before the shitty times started. What I have again now is still fragile and needs to be touched with gloves of silk and there are one or two things that still have to return.
