Birthdays and One-Shots · 6:01pm Nov 14th, 2012
Hi guys, a shorter post this time around.
First off, an apology for the delay in the next chapter of In Her Blood. The wait's been mostly for two reasons, firstly because, shortly after watching the season premier, I had an idea for a one-shot which I've spent much of the last two days writing (don't worry, it's basically done now, so it won't hold things up any longer). Just to explain very briefly, it's a 6000-ish-word FlutterDash romance, not clop this time round, I hasten to add (it's probably going to be rated T for casual wing-stuff, but nothing more serious than that) and will be aiming towards the d'aww end of the spectrum. It's set on the overnight train on the way back to Canterlot from the Crystal Empire, and I'm trying to get a better look inside Dash's head, so to speak.
Also, it's going to be my 18th birthday on Friday, so that's naturally a bit of a distraction. As such, apologies if there's a tad bit of a wait for the next chapter because of that.
Pony on, etc. (Gah.)

Happy early birthday... and I must say I thought you were a little older judging by your professionalism and writing style but regardless live life to it's fullest and I'm looking forward to the one-shot.
I look forward to this.
Flutterdash is best ship.
A happy early birthday from me as well!
I shall watch for the FlutterDash oneshot, and I am looking forward to the next chapter of In Her Blood. No rush on that though, because the high quality makes it worth the wait!
Happy birthday early! Enjoy yourself, and have a good weekend! Can't wait to see what you've come up with for a FlutterDash story, just don't feel pressed to rush it.
So you're 17, yet you write clop? Isn't that against the rules?

503501 Well, I figure if I don't read what I write, I should be okay... (Although admittedly, that makes the whole writing business pretty tough...)
503499 503478 503455 Thanks a lot for the birthday wishes, guys! You should hopefully be seeing the one-shot in a couple of days, and most likely the next chapter over the weekend or early next week, if all goes to plan.
Honestly, based upon the quality of your work, I expected you to be older. The fact that you're only 17 surprises me, simply because I am 17, and could never even hope to be as good of a writer as you. This has honestly blown my mind.
Anyways, happy (early) birthday! I wish you the best.
Lookin' forward to it, happy early birthday!!
You say there'll be no more distractions... but that only lasts until inspiration strikes again next saturday.... amiright?

It's okay, you've got an awesome pair of pre/proofreaders to take care of the nasty business of reading it. dl.dropbox.com/u/31471793/FiMFiction/Twilight_Sparkle_lolface.png

503625 Thanks a lot! In fairness, I've more or less done writing to the exclusion of other skills that might have come in more useful... such as the ability to talk to other human beings in real life. Really though, writing's largely a matter of practice, and I have several tons of room for improvement at this point!
503838 Mhm, distractions are funny things... Also, thanks!
