“Alright, now tell me my dear friend, what inspired your username?
Response:
My username was first used for a D&D character oh so many years ago. Ever since then, almost every character has inherited the same name. Thus, I thought that I’d use it for my username on FimFic as I’d be writing stories, as opposed to experiencing them.
“What drew you into Mlp?
Response:
I originally enjoyed it for the humor as well as the characterisation of the ponies. Like with many people who watch the show, it didn’t feel like any other kids cartoon, which caused it to stand out on my radar.
Other than that, I felt it was a sort of escapism from every-day life.
“Who is your favorite pony and why?
Response:
Twilight Sparkle, as she is the best waifu and pony. Don’t @ me.
Seriously though; Twilight encompasses all of the best character traits which I like in a character, especially as she grows throughout the series’.
“Favorite episode and why?”
Response:
Easily the ending episodes of season 5, The Cutie Re-Mark 1 & 2.
They are a lot darker than some of the other episodes and shows Twilight’s determination at stopping an opponent who is magically superior than her. It highlights her willingness to stop the mare, even at a cost of herself, when confronted with an eternity of conflict with Starlight.
“What inspires you to write?”
Response:
Writing allows me to craft worlds and stories which no one has seen before, while at the same time putting characters which I like in situations which wouldn’t otherwise be seen on the show.
“Tell us about your favorite story, and why it inspires you to write. It doesn't have to be mlp specifically!”
Response:
The first ever story I properly read, and wasn’t in school, was Sabriel. Followed closely by Lirael. It had such an amazing world-building that I couldn’t help but get engrossed and root for the characters. The magic was strange and exotic, what with the bells and the theme that death isn’t inherently bad, it’s just another beginning.
“Give us the background of the author! Tell us all about you. Well in a short summary.
Response:
So, I started watching the show the first season it aired when I was in my first year of college. After a few years, I fell out of the fandom, but came back roughly a month ago.
I’m currently studying for my PhD, but other than that, not much goes on. :P
