Creator breakdown, apologies owed, reflections and plans for the near future. · 11:16pm Oct 24th, 2019
Well ... this is awkward, my dear readers and fellow writers.
As the title says, it is about time that I openly state what has gone wrong with me in the last year.
I am not sure what the hell went wrong with me, but my productivity has gone down the drain by many a factor.
The first one: my hands now hurt with prolonged typing, or when exposed to the cold. Hell, even working in the garden, or using them for long causes the same crap to me.
The second, while warmth and heat relax them and reduce their stiffness, the effect is short-lived which causes me to have constant interruptions that really do not help matters.
The third? Well, I discovered Harry Potter, Worm and Naruto fanfiction along with the fanfiction of this site which has drawn me like a moth to the candle. That is a big-ass distraction let me tell you.
With this said, I must apologize to you, my fellow readers for my long hiatus--and to you as well, dear writers I once edited for. I believe I will no longer be able to do so, as even sustaining conversations through chat is now a literal pain in the hands if done too long.
For one who once used to work informally in that--editing and translating documents--it is a career-ending thing... well if that were my formal career. I must think about what to do with my life since my body has turned against me. Most of this year has gone mostly to exercising the hands, as well as hot baths or hot ceramic while holding it until my hands relax.
It has been too long, and it is inexcusable--for that, I sincerely apologize for my failures.
At most I'll be able to keep--eventually--my cowritership with DisplacedWriter once I manage to find a way to be less screwed over by my life and health.
The good news is, that I can work a couple of thousand words every now and then and now have not only the next chapter but an interlude until I establish a new rhythm.
If that's possible, that is. 
This said I am not planning on leaving the site, writing, or anything of the sort. It'll be only slower-paced as I can no longer sustain my previous output.
This is about the limit of what I can write as my right hand is getting stiff and pained at this point.

Have you gone to a doctor to see if there's a lotion of some kind for it? or the very least the doc can explain what's wrong with your hands.

No money for doing it at a private practice, I'm afraid.
And just thinking about going into a public hospital after all these years of governmental rot makes me shiver me timber mate.
At least hot dips work well in reducing tension at the tendons.
