Slow-going, the next chapter is being typed.

2020 was, let us be honest, a bad year.

    A bad, bad, bad, year.

Got COVID before the warnings were released, it screwed me over in more ways than just the lungs alone as my attention span, stamina, everything went downhill.

Still, after three years I finally got through what was writer-blocking me and am slowly typing the next chapter while rewatching the show.

Creator breakdown, apologies owed, reflections and plans for the near future.

Well ... this is awkward, my dear readers and fellow writers.

As the title says, it is about time that I openly state what has gone wrong with me in the last year.

I am not sure what the hell went wrong with me, but my productivity has gone down the drain by many a factor.

    Progress, and timings

Well, in between work, real life, and time spent outside, I've yet been able to chip in a few words every now and then to the next chapter.

I'm currently at ten thousand words aprox at the latest wordcount.

Will publish once I've covered what I wanted to cover in the chapter - so I'll drink up to that!

    Have a nice day!

It is good to be back on track.

I am now at two thousand words into the next chapter. It is titled: 'Dark Tidings'.

It certainly feels good to actually be able to type after so much time blocked by being thoroughly distracted by Real Life(TM).

Oh, how wonders will never cease! :rainbowlaugh::rainbowlaugh:

Well, I'll do my best to post it in a couple of weeks - if not earlier to catch back your attention, dear readers.

Slow-going, the next chapter is being typed. · 1:45am Dec 1st, 2023

I currently stand at 4748 words and climbing.

I can only hope that this and future releases don't take so long, that Real Life doesn't get in the way and blocks my meager writing attempts either through infection sequels, stress, etc. and I thank those users who through the years left their comments letting me know that my work was appreciated.

Even if many of them are no longer online on this site, I'll still seek out to surprise them should they log on in the future.

I can only hope and do my best for any future reader that comes by, and do my best at entertaining them while keeping the spirit of the characters intact.

What about your wrist? I remember you telling me it would lock up in the cold or if you type for long periods of time.

It still does happen every now and then--especially after carrying heavy weights or sleeping in the wrong posture--but I'm just about as well-covered as I can be with wool mitts to keep them warm and avoid that dreaded feeling! :yay:

At least its not like how my right wrist has been where if I carry anything or try to hold an object a certain item, it would make a loud pop sound and I'd lose all my strength in that hand, causing me to let go of the object.

Shit, man. That's horrible to hear--and must be even worse to live with.

Is there any physiotherapeutic exercise that can be done to reinforce your wrist tendons? 'Cause that description seemed to me like the tendons are weakened somehow. :pinkiesad2:

...I don't know any, but i'm just taking it more caution, basically lean into my right hand to prevent the left wrist from popping.

Fair 'nuff, man.

Boy, our thirties aren't treating us well, aye! :pinkiecrazy:

Getting old sucks, lol.
