Got myself the second cheapest drawing tablet I could a while ago to try to get the creative juices flowing again in spite of what a meh year I've had.
(The cheapest of the brand I wanted doesn't have bluetooth, if you're wondering. Oh, and minor health crud conga-lining. Nothing hospital worthy, just draining, unfun stuff that sucks out all your energy. )
Actually managed to hit a deadline for once, too! And drew something for the Derpibooru FiM 9th anniversary celebration. The prompt being: Draw a pony or ponies achieving their dreams.
I therefore present: Hugh Jelly in a pool full of jello.
Considering I haven't drawn regularly for over a decade and how new I'm to digital art slash Krita, I'm honestly pretty proud of it. 
Oh, and apologies if I'm a bit quiet around here for quite a while. Swedish Netflix hasn't updated with the 9th season yet, so I'm in avoiding spoilers mode since I don't want (more) of the finale... well, spoiled for me.
FYI, depending on what program you're using, there should be a keyboard command to let you draw straight lines when you need it. I use Shift for Gimp.

Did find the line tool, actually, but only once I'd drawn half of the pool already.
I'll fairly admit I rushed quite a bit to meet that deadline, but I just didn't want to miss it considering it's the last anniversary celebration over on Derpibooru while the show is still airing, you know?
