The Last Friendship Report · 12:32am Oct 13th, 2019
Dear Princess Celestia,
I have learned many things from you and your subjects. I have been hearing of your adventures for the past six years, and learning from every one. But what I have learned the most is the gift of how your world has impacted mine.
My boyfriend in 2013 introduced me to this show after telling me he was a Brony. I didn't think much of it after he asked me to watch the first two episodes. But two weeks later, I watched all four seasons in another week. It opened me to that incredible world of magic and friendship. Today, that man is my husband.
I met a girl two years ago who loved the show. I flew 2000 miles to visit her for the first time at that time. We watched the My Little Pony Movie together the first time. I've seen her many a time since. Today, that girl is my daughter.
Last November, I had someone on fimfiction message me looking for a new friend because they were new to this website. We got to talking, and today that friend is my best friend.
I began writing about your world four years ago, thinking nobody would ever want to listen to what I had to say, and that my voice was unimportant. Today, I have 245 people who want to read my stories, and have been featured nine times because my words have impacted people.
The magic of your world has seeped into mine, and changed me for the better. Because of you and your subjects, I have learned so many things. I have learned that taking part in one another's interests leads to lasting relationships. I have learned that shared interests can create a family. I have learned that good friends can come even when you least expect it, and change your life forever.
Thank you, Princess Celestia, and all of your subjects, for teaching me such crucial lessons. They will never be forgotten as long as I live.
Faithfully Yours,
Cloe M.
May I use this idea and write my own letter?
Thank celestia for having this person in my life. I’m happy to have a mama like you Cloe!
This is remarkably heartwarming.
You know, I once heard that there wasn’t a thing such as luck, that everything happens for a reason. This includes those we inspire, those we touch, and those we befriend. You never know who you’ll reach until you do.

I'm glad you thought so!
Nice!
I could not have put it any better myself. The show was an extremely positive and motivating experience. It certainly made 2010 thru 2020 a decade to remember.
Being able to unite under the common banner of loving colorful pastel horses allowed us all to do what often has seemed impossible. So often people refuse to give others a chance to share what makes them special. MLP fixed that by having an epic amount of flexibility in the arts. Interests could be shared through pictures, stories, musitc, etc. Numerous other worlds became open due to knowing we all always had Pony to keep us together.
For me, I was able to truly discover how important it is to not go by first impressions. When people learned I was going blind and had gone totally blind AFTER they got to know me it made a world of difference. This also opened a huge door for folks on The spectrum as they could feel genuinely a part of something before societal stereotypes got them put down without just cause.
MLP got me through 11 eye surgeries, being driven to madness by workplace bullying, my wife falling out of love with me, and numerous other difficult times. The ponies helped me through it all as I wrote different stories to help ease my anxiety and depression as I found abilities to relate with different characters in the show to help move past what I had to endure.
I do hope Season 5 will allow us all to keep building upon what we have going. Hasbro has REALLY big horseshoes to fill. Though we all can carry the spirit of FiM forever-and-ever.
Thanks for sharing, Ms. Rarity. Here's to much happiness ahead.
