Lots of Cancellation · 4:53am Sep 11th, 2019
Ok, I probably should've spoken about this a while ago... Or a long time ago, like last June... But that's what happens when life gets a hold of you.
First news, the reason why I cancelled Flutter-Topia is many reasons, but here's the mass majority why I did it.
-The whole fic was because, at the time, people were whining about there not being an MLP×Zootopia crossover.
- I was basing it on a theory from MattPatt's Film Theory episode that, like many of his theories now, are just badly hilarious.
-Most of the side Characters are just reused Disney characters, which may not sound bad, but it kinda says I'm pretty lazy and can't think of original characters that aren't just one off gags.
- Looking at it now, it's sort of just a rehash of the first movie, like most bad sequels that don't expand the movie, but just do the same thing all over again.
- Summer was around, and I have to pay over $400 for the electric company because of the A/C, and most of the time, even when I say they need to help, my roommates don't help me pay for said bills and I have to pay for everything myself.
Now, if any of you also saw today, Planet Express's Package Pony is also cancelled, somewhat because of the same reasons (mostly financial), but it's mostly because I'm just getting the episodes of Futurama and putting all the emphasis on Derpy and her cross story with Dr. Whooves, which will get rid of the charm of all the other characters. Plus, I stopped at the Election episode with Richard Nixon, mostly because I was planning a Donald Trump and Hilary Clinton joke, but with how sensitive everyone is on anything political, I'd rather not take it.
Finally, sadly, the sequel to Deadpool in Equestria, the Daughter of Deadpool, has been deleted. This is mostly because I actually saw the leaked finale and will need to change a few things, but mostly because I want to challenge myself and be even more creative with story telling, like a comic writer should be, taking ques from the MCU, but also adding my unique twist to it all.
But not all is bad. There is light. I'll actually try to get back to Friendship Existed: The Previous Generation, even allowing other fellow writers to submit their own ideas and chapters to it, just as long as it's not Mature.
Also, I'm planning on doing a sort of reimagining fic of MLP where it's set in a loose version of Dungeons and Dragons (Why I did that those D&D Character sheets, but some will be changed). This will be a sort of experiment for me as it'll be more action centered, but still have plenty of quiet moments that don't rely heavily on comedy.
And I'm doing something with Spettro138's fic, A New Brand of Freedom, where I get a famous Brony Analyst's OC and give them the Tatsuro PWNY-Verse/My Little Dashie treatment. In my case, I'm planning to use Dr. Wolf and insert him into either of these 2 worlds:
Road Rovers (an old 90's cartoon that followed the TMNT bandwagon of a team of anthropomorphic heroes, in this case, dogs)
Or
Warhammer 40k (specifically, If the Emperor had Text to Speech)

Not to mention calling Dr. Wolf 'Corgi' when Magnus is brought into the picture.
Honestly, I like to see him being a part of Road Rovers, it was a really good show, too bad that it was cut short.

Well, I found the story entertaining at least, but, admittedly, I haven't yet watched the movie.
As long as you don't delete your stories, even if you chose to rewrite them, I'll be happy.
