“Alright, now tell me my dear friend, what inspired your username?
Response: After some medical diagnosis left me feeling a little down, I started listening to some dark music (because it makes me feel surprisingly happy). I was an admin for a particular MUCK game that I won't name, and you got to set a title and a name. I set my title to Somewhat and my name to Damaged. After that, I just started using the nickname Damaged on its own. It fits me, and I've been using it for around 10 or so years now.
“What drew you into Mlp?
Response: Friends. Another writer friend kept bugging me to take a look at this thing, and others in the community I frequented kept raving about how awesome it was. I came into the fandom on the heels of the S2 finale.
“Who is your favorite pony and why?
Response: Oof. That's a tough one—I love them all! If any, however, it would be Rarity. As a creator myself, she resonates strongly with my aesthetic. It helps that I'm a pile of words into writing a story from Rarity in the first person.
“Favorite episode and why?”
Response: Probably the episode I've written about the most, watched the most, and picked apart the most (and it's technically two)—A Canterlot Wedding.
“What inspires you to write?”
Response: Life. Making people happy. Getting replies like "I really needed that today" or "This put a big smile on my face". There is nothing better I could do with my life, I believe, than to make at least one person a day have a better day.
“Give us the background of the author! Tell us all about you. Well in a short summary.
Response: Short. Okay. You do know short for me is typically over 20k words? Alright! Short. Just turned 40. Love (and loved) everything about MLP (even Equestria Girls and even the crayola bugs. Oh, and in case anyone hadn't noticed yet, I'm Australian. Everything else is subject to change without notice.
“Is there anything else you'd like to say?
Response: Find something that makes you happy, and makes the people you care about happy. Do that thing and become expert at it. Oh, and don't fear getting older.

5118357 That's a tough one. I'd want to say Color Of Magic, for being the start of Discworld, but then you also have Dragonflight, Daggerspell, Night Watch, and Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy for the same reason. (Among others of course, Sheepfarmer's Daughter being one I can think of.)
But, as a writer, I think I have to go with my Blue Book of Grammar. Without such books as these, all the others would not be.

Colour of Magic surely made a good movie, I never read the book though. I liked how the author or the director made fun with death over the whole thing
And of course 42 is the only answer that counts
