Super Trampoline graciously solicited me to be a judge for his Feghoot Contest, which is now on its final day. You can win up to 100 dollars for placing in the contest, and aside from that it's a fun, friendly competition to get those writing glands stimulated. The deadline is at 11:59:59 PM Pacific Standard Time July 19th (contest was extended slightly), but if you send Tramp a DM asking for a brief extension,he's willing to allow a bit of extra leeway for those interested (within reason ofc, so don't expect a good few extra days).More details can be found here.
For those unaware, a Feghoot is a vignette that builds up to ending on a pun. From Wikipedia:
A Feghoot is a humorous short story or vignette ending in a pun where the story contains sufficient context to recognize the punning humor. It can be considered a type of shaggy dog story.
Although we're now in the eleventh hour, you can also join the discord server if you feel so inclined. Even if you just manage to slap together something at the last minute, any and all entrants are appreciated, and who knows? You just might hit gold! I know I usually do my best read: only work when I'm down to the wire due to excessive procrastination.
