It's just a Tip Jar · 4:02am Jul 2nd, 2019
Hi guys!
Oh, I rambled a little more than i meant to in this blog. Uhh... have a cute pony and I'll see you past the break line!
I promise you, I'm hard at work on new chapters and even a brand new story! Chapters 5 and 6 of Spectacular Seven are written and there's even new cover art being made, so updates will begin again soon!
But, with the conclusion of school comes everyone's favorite part of being a functional member of society: job hunting, My loans are dried up and my internship is over, so kinda need a job pronto.
Now, I've been hemming and hawing on this for a while, like well over a year. Some of you have asked me if I have a Patreon or something so you can support me. Honestly, your comments are the best support I could ask for.
But we live in a capitalist society, so sadly, money is a thing we all need.
The thing is, I felt like if I opened a Patreon, I needed to give more to you guys to justify asking for money. I honestly don't feel comfortable doing something like giving first access or sneak previews to story chapters because they can change all the way up until I push the publish button. And I feel like if you read it in the Gdoc, you won't leave a comment of Fimfic. And I like comments.
I also don't have a Discord server to invite any of you too. I'm part of Novel's server, and honestly, it's the only server I need. It's home, and if I make one, I would have to spend less time there to manage the upkeep of my own.
I would like to stream once in awhile, so that's a thing that could happen.
Anyway, this is a long way just to say that I have a Ko-fi page now. There's a few reasons why I picked it over Patreon, but you're already probably bored of my rambling. So, it's a tip jar. Like my stories? Want to make a contribution? Will that contribution hurt you financially? If you answered yes, yes, and no, then by all means, tip!
But it's just a tip jar.
I set the starting price to just a dollar. You can buy as many 'coffees' as you want, but be reasonable. I'm not planning on relying on this for my main income. Most of these funds (especially after I get a job) will go to commission pieces, food, maybe even a game, or heck, I'll use it to help other people of Ko-fi, keep the cycle of generosity flowing!
But again it's just a tip jar.
... Buy me things!
Sunset!
Oh Sunset, he's already given you the greatest gift of all.
The gift of Friendship.
I'm in a weird place where I'm moving into an apartment that's about $100 more than I'm comfortable paying, but I do happen to have a bit of leftover in my steam wallet. There's not much I can do about food or commissions, but if there is something on the steam sales you've been eyeing I might be able to show my support in that small way.
If not, that's totally okay! Gifts from strangers can be weird. I'll keep showing my support in the likes, views, and comment sections
-Reaches into wallet-
-Drag away- Don't even think about it
I must spoil waifu!
Pay your own bills first!
Sunset makes a point.
Guitar strings aren’t cheap, especially when you’re fronting Dash once a month.
I would donate if you could, so I hope this thought counts. Is Across the Shimmering Sea going to be cancelled?
I told you that I would support you and give you money the second you would have started a Patreon, KoFi, etc.
And I did.
I even created a Ko-Fi account for you (I don't really like Ko-Fi only because it relies on PayPal :/, that's why Patreon is better).
I've started with 15$.
I understand why you didn't create a Patreon, but I'm already supporting artists that told me they only wanted to be paid by every creation, not every month but I don't mind doing that, because they deserve it.
That's why even if you couldn't release your work for so long, I would still pay you.
And I would never make a claim about how you didn't post any content for X month.
I'll see if I can support you monthly for now, or if there is any other way for Ko-Fi that does not involves PayPal.
But you really made the right choice, and certainly there's people like me who are more than relieved that we can finally support one of our greatest author.
Take care, and for all that matters, as far as I'm concerned, you and Fav Pony Girl can take all of it.

And VanillaGhosties is also one of my favourite artists, thanks for using his art. 💛❤
You’re awesome, Sunnybuns.

Views and comments are the best things I can ask for.

I hope not. I just need to find more time... and a little more motivation to work on it.

Thank you, friend. And like I said, your financial needs come first, so even if you can only give a dollar, that's fine. It's the thought that counts.
Hey, as one of your readers who asked about a Patreon, I'm glad you opened that Ko-Fi page. I don't really care about the rewards anyway.
I just made a one-time donation and I will probably set a monthly one too.
Anyway, I'm happy to show some support, and I hope it will help
