First, the new fic is up! I've been quite pleased with the reception, more or less. I'm secretly glad it didn't hit the feature box and was still well received. Best of both worlds! It is a bit weird how the fic I worked the least on is one of the more successful ones... but I can use that to be emo later. :3 For now, I'm just happy that I made people laugh. I've never written comedy before, and this is my first attempt on this side of 15 to write anything even mildly erotic, so cheers. I ain't gonna do it much, but it was interesting to try everything I never do all at once.
Second: Necklaces. I have a secret, and mildly feminine vice: I love necklaces and like to have lots of them. I also lose them like crazy, or they break, or my parents make me not wear them by nagging me about them. At the moment, I only have one, and I can't really wear it because they don't approve and it wouldn't be right to antagonize them. So I desperately need a new necklace or three. In fact, 3 would be awesome, I usually wear 2-3 at any given time.
So I'd like to enlist your help if that's alright! See anything cool on the interwebs I might want to buy? Or even just pictures? Or even any cool ones you have! If you want to take a look and play show and tell (show and tell is best game) here's some of my previous acquisitions for idea seeds:

SEASON. THREE. I. SAW. IT.
Overall: Magnificent. The animation has improved. The work done on this episode is amazing. They juggled 6 characters very, very well and I loved how we got several moments of interaction between characters while still focusing on Twilight (we forget that in a very real way she is the main character). RD and Flutters, Rarity and AJ/RD... Some Rarity/Twi fuel for you guys in the song if that's yo thang, Rainbow Dash being cool and taking orders like a little soldier...
here are my notes.
-All Canterlot guards are now Equius from Homestuck. “I… need…a towel…”

-3:13—Twilight: There…are things that don’t exist in books…. *existential nightmare*
-Celestia’s hologram explanation of the Crystal Empire was beautiful.
-TWILIGHT. DESTINY. TWILIGHT. APOTHEOSIS. DESTINY. Also Celestia being motherly is wonderful.
-Gak. Even though I haven’t seen the thing yet.
-new favorite background character is the math professor in the song. I just love him. Hoofstein? I dunno.
-Pinkie Pie cannon? Wonderful. Yes. Party artillery.
-I love Rarity. Yes Rarity, you bring those scarves.
-CAN. WE. TALK. ABOUT. SHINING. ARMOR. I’m having flashbacks to Hoth from Empire Strikes Back. BUT GUYS BEST STALLION IM SORRY BIG MAC I LOVE YOU BUT that mask and him and just look at him how epic is he? very
-they did a good job of making him look exhausted/scared at around 8:25 or so when he says “There are things out here…”
-This is fanfiction given animated form and I love it.
-OH MY GOoDnEsSSs MONSTERS AND SHINING AND SAVING
-they actually did a better job explaining his horn thing then before. Like, I’m okay with it because you get to see this epic battle scene where he bravely stands his ground and is overcome.
-Proof that Rarity is my spirit animal #15: “There…are…no…words!” Yes darlings, shiny things. Aw… and they tease her it is so sad but yet so very funny
-Cadance looks like she’s like 100. Oh my goodness she is now Emperor Palpatine. Look at her. It’s true.
-I believe in you, Flutters. One day you’ll do it.
-Pinkie Pie is best steampunk ninja. That scene? Perfection. OOoooooh night vision. Beautiful.
-oh my god Pinkie can be anyone. Flutters, anyone. That is horrifying.
-Twilight should not go into crystal sculpting.
-I love that stupid horn.
-I like Crystal ponies. So shiny…. Shhhiiinneeey
-AJ is best carny worker.
-TwiDash moment? Lol Twilight and Rainbow one on one
-the way her(cadance’s) magic works actually reminds me a lot of Chatoyance’s idea that sky is kind of “painted on” by the princesses and that Equestria was it’s own universe.
-RD and AJ are wonderful.
-Celestia’s Quarters? What?? What? I… but…how? Then? What? I mean? We’re gonna see the Siste’rs origin—OH MY GOD TWILIGHT NO OH MY GOD STOP NO BAD DON’T GO THE DARK SIDE STOP THAT
-Theses guys are on to me. They write Dark Twilight too.
-That scene felt like Eternal.
-Flutterjoust. And then Rainbow used the “If that’s okay with you…” voice

And I was so stoked at like everything, I woke up at 6:45 in the morning just to watch it on actual TV (for the effect ya know?) Even though I get to go to my first concert tonight and wont be asleep till like...4 AM probably.

She is the element of magic, and even if it was one view nobody is to say she didnt learn about it.
Even if the small ammount of Sombra was kinda a downer (compared to what it could have been) he was still so far the worst villian of all, NMM failed in her attempt while he did sucseed. For Discord while we all surely imagine him turning water into acid or some other cruel jokes in the show we only saw "weak" stuff.
While here enslaving a whole empire, corrupting it and all that, that was pretty dark.

I liked King Sombra. He was dark and threatening, yet the episode wasn't Really about him, and I was okay with that. He wasn't one of the other villains because the episode was more about Twilight growing.

You read dune too! I loved Dune! Have you read all of them? I had a hard time finding all of them, but I did.
They played off Sombra like LOTR played off Sauran, he's the Big Bad, and thus needs no character development. I don't understand the major butthurt from so many people.
