URBC Seven Tribes Spin-off! · 2:43am Jun 9th, 2019
Welp, I said I was working on this months ago, and now it's finally here! The spin-off of Undead Robot Bug Crusaders about the ancheint seven tribes of ponykind I've been giving hint about as far back as the prologue of the first story!
...
But to be honest, I'm not sure if it's fit to publish.
I mean, URBC's always had darker elements hidden in the background. The ghouls and their war with the changelings, for example. And writing about the AU's history means writing directly about some of those dark elements. As such, this spin-off isn't a comedy, and I'm not sure if writing a dark origin story for my silly slice of life story is a good idea.
Especially considering that my usual attempts at writing darker stories are apparently somewhat lacking and I'm experimenting with a different writing style...
But after putting so much thought and effort into this, I figured I'd put it out there so I can at least be told what I'm doing wrong. Here's hoping at least someone finds it an enjoyable read and be interesting in the AU I've....

I'm going to have to come up with a proper title for this verse if I'm fleshing out the history, aren't I?

Any suggestions?
I don't see any problem publishing some spin-off stories - especially when they can fill out the missing backgrounds.
I like world-building story (especially when one this good), so having more info will make me understand your universe better.

For a universe name, I'm thinking "Robots, Bugs and undead, oh my!"
Something along those lines, anyway; something based on that Wizard of Oz line.
